Yes. Fees paid to a registered tax agent are fully tax deductible. This applies to the cost of tax returns, as well as advice, and dealing with penalties, objections and appeals. Travelling costs to see your tax agent are also deductible if using your own vehicle. The allowance for this is in addition to the 5000km limit for deductions and is calculated using the cents per kilometre method.

Refunds can take as little as 3 working days or a maximum of 14 days.
